DE LUQUE was founded by Don Adulfo de Luque in 1890, having its origins in another company created previously with the name of Adulfo de Luque & Company, progressing through different denominations until today. The origins of the company come from the idea of its founder. This was to create one of the first industrial laboratories of chemistry of its time, and was the first to develope a wide range of products such as the aspirin Lukol, anticaries Lukol, water of Abyssinia Lukol, bananas salt and many other products, some of which are being manufactured today, like the Oriental Balsam.
We must not forget the viticultural influence and the impact it has had on the area. We can see this in one of the most important products of the time, the well known quinine Jerez La Enfermera, being one of the most important reconstituent of that time.
With the passing of time, DE LUQUE was modenizing itself and evolving into new work areas such as drinks and food, managing in a short time to establish itself as a very competitive company.
Nowadays, the company mainly develops its business in the manufacture of extracts, concentrates and aromas for the world od food in general.
